Seriously, the Blues are amazingly aggressive and are known to absolutely chew up rotors. I would run a carbotech race pad on the street long before those. If you want/need a pad of that capability, try the Panther Plus pads from Carbotech. You'll be better off (in my opinion at least).
Or, If you like your aftermarket rotors (big brakes), then you can use them to resurface them, that is only for a few passes, then bed-in with new street legal pads. Otherwise, they're for high temperature (800-1000 degree F) racing applications. Maybe safe for club racing, but definitely NOT safe for street use.

I mentioned I cracked my RotorPros with the heavy bedding session of the Carbotech Panther Pluses. I got 3 cracks in the outer half of each front rotor. Here are the pics.

Wow Jason, you don't do anything "half way". I expected a few edge cracks, not a crack across the entire facing (nearly across the facing).

Wow, I have an idea! Anytime this frivilous issue arises, let's link back to this picture.

On second thought, won't work for those stubborn bling boys who think all of "The crazy Porsche, Ferrari, and all of the Formula 1 teams do 'em, so why don't we?"

Just a note, only the outer side developed cracks, the inner side didn't. I wonder if the inner side of the rotor is some how cooler? It's more covered by the rim, so I would think the outer half would run cooler. Then again, maybe it does. Maybe the outer half cooled quicker than the inner side when I tooled down the freeway for 10 min. The more rapid cooling might have been a contributing factor. I don't know, just guessing. Blanks for me, thanks.

FWIW, I've seen a number of Ferrari with solid rotors and the few current F1 rotors I've seen did not have holes in them.

Nice rotors. They must be defective, because some guy in a slammed Honda with primered ground effects and a five inch coffee can exhaust told me that drilled rotors never crack.

I am running Hawk HPS and Powerslot rotors. I get a little noise but nothing terrible. I am very happy with the way the car stops.

I'll second this. With some pretty hard autox action on them and they're still great, no warpage from the rotor and no sound from the pads either ...

$194 is the cost of 2 Brembo front rotors and a set of PBR MetalMaster pads.
$210 is the cost of 2 Brembo front rotors and a set of Hawk HPS pads.
$252 is the cost of 2 Brembo front rotors and a set of Hawk HP+ pads.

FYI.

I went with pg plus brakes -rear brakes. They didn't squeek first two weeks but then on the third week they squeeked for a week and so far no squeeks.

But I did paint the rusted middle part of my rotors which did dust -brown rust, new rotors too- and I think that also may have helped in the brakes not squeeking. Maybe the rust dust got into the brake pad surface causeing a squeek? But I was at the smog shop while my car was getting smoged and that where I linked the rear brakes that squeeked, before hand, I was blaming the recently new -about 8 months- front brake pads.
