Default Ultima GTR + Magnacharged LS2

Magnason put together this hybrid for me to fit the LS2. Has the throttle body facing the rear, and drives off the front with no jackshaft (as it does in Vette/GTO applications), it will be on the dyno in a week or so. Its going into an Ultima GTR. The engine work is being done by Jeff Schwartz at http://www.schwartzperformance.com/... he has a GTR with an LS6...

Yes.... I am hoping for a large helping of nastiness

Actually, I live in Hong Kong, and there's a lot of very expensive machinery over here that I plan on eating for breakfast on Sunday mornings.... Some Ferrari/Lambo dim sum cooked (smoked??) to perfection with my lil' old LS2.... ooh yeah

......I dont think the other children will want to play with me anymore.

You'll really like the supercharger scream at full throttle and instant throttle response. The only down side is the occasional knocking sounds from the gears in the supercharger at idle.

Is that kit intercooled?I was kind of wondering where you would locate a heat exchanger on a GTR?

hey crafty! is Schwartz going to be building the headers as well? they going to be like his (under the drive shafts) or like the more conventional GTR style?????

OOORRRR, you could get some heards (yes with the turbo) like Mark has on his turbo Can Am! then you could run both a supercharger and a turbo!! hehehe

thanks Chris.

I think so... Its going on the dyno next week with the stock manifolds but I will be getting headers made when the engine is in the chassis. The exhaust will go down like Jeffs'....

What size wheels/tires on the car in the pic? Those seem to dwarf my 335s on an 18x12 rim.... Maybe it's just the size of the car?

Which ones? The black valve covers are on my engine, the C5R ones are on Jeff's car. The black ones were about USD9,000 and they threw in the LS2 for free.

These are my wheels, 245/35/ZR/18 on the front and 335/30/ZR/18 on the rear.
