Default The beginning of something... PICS!

I had been dreaming about having a late model F-body with some sort of forced induction for awhile. I didn't want to buy something already built (but won't rule it out for the future), so back in late June I bought an 01 TA M6 with low miles.

Fast forward 4 months...

A&A Corvette are building a forged shortblock. The cam is a Cam-Motion custom grind. The pistons are custom for 8.3:1 with the set of LS6 heads that I have. The turbo is a PTK kit with a 76gts/FMIC/meth. Here is some of the stuff taking up space in my living room. This thread my take awhile to see through (with the car) as I travel alot for work and it's tough being gone for 1-3 weeks at a time and trying to get things done. For that reason, I handed the car and goodies over to Jeff Creech at Carolina Auto Masters to help get the ball rolling. Anyway, here are the pics:

.....................wish me luck........... ...just had to use fart.

Here are most of the PTK parts laid out. Things are moving along nicely.

HAHA!! Actually I'm stuck in Jacksonville FL doing a FANUC startup that is running LOOOOONNNGGG... My roommate called me and told me that all of the piping came in, and he took the pic. He does like Spiderman...

And thanks for the compliment. Another user here recently got his setup and his headers were black and exhaust piping was stainless; mine are the opposite.

I hope it will.... have more goodies not in the pics.

Dynotune wideband 02
Dynotune AFR and FP guage and autometer dual pillar for them
Eboost boost controller
Textralia clutch
HP Tuners software with EIO
Billet rails and new braided line from the tank forward & fittings
...and there has to be more that I'm forgetting

I'm really excited, can't wait to move. The car felt fast in it's stock form for the first week or two that I had it.

Thanks for the compliments.... heh... I'm gonna ride around on it through the winter staying easy on things. With the hard-*** radial tires I shouldn't have to worry about having enough bite to tear anything up. I'll bite the bullet and get a 9" by next spring when track time rolls around though. I'm gonna go ahead and put on the SFCs and LCAs up front. Hoping that if (more like when) I decide to see how easy those tires spin the LCAs will keep the wheel-hop-monster from eating my rear-end. (now that sounds kinda ghey)

Sounds like a plan... so when do you get your ride back? I know it's killing you (the wait)... it has to be.

Yeah I do, here are some of the little things that bit me in the ***, just came in today; wideband setup with AFR, FPG, lots of fuel odds and ends from Nasty Nate, etc... also my rotating assembly should be back from balancing about now.
