Default ZR1 posting low 7:40's VSpec posting mid 7:20's

Not looking good for GM right now. With the GTR Vspec running confirmed times of 7:25's on the same track/same day, GM might need to put the ZR1 inside for awhile.

What's going on Chris? We thought we lost you there for a second!

Other than the fact that both of the Nissans have been using grooved F1-style tyres and were easily NOT production spec....

The rest of those articles are nothing but propaganda...those hand timers could easily have been inaccurate and GM is not known for doing running starts like Nissan...

Not to mention the GTR's have all been right side drivers...not US spec...

Seriously, stop coming here you 'tard.

LMFAO...
Remember when the "spectators" saw the first GTR test mule running 7:15....then 7:20....then 7:25...
Zr1 is going to be in the low 7:30s with a blind folded driver.

I like how chrissy decided not to your respond to your post and responded to the one afterwards, basically admitting the points you made. And wow, good source on the comparison between the GTR and ZR1... gtrblogs lol

Ok wiseguy. Why should it matter to you? Can you afford either car? Will you ever own anything other than a beat-up *** 1980 civic? It doesn't, No, and No!!

Then why even concern yourself with **** that is beyond your financial grasp?

You are a troll. No

According to our shooters on the ground, the Corvette ZR1 was turning in lap times in the low 7:40s, a pace that puts it right up there with the world's fastest supercars. And given the damp conditions and rough, hand-timed numbers, you can expect to see even quicker official lap times when Chevrolet goes public with its Nürburgring data.

Dumb *** trolls find an import board.

"""Looks like they still have some work to do at the Nürburgring, because the Nissan GT-R has already run a lap of 7:38. We're guessing the ZR1 will be able to shave off another 4 seconds without much trouble. The only question now is how much quicker than 7:38 can it go?"''

They where both seen running on the same day. So your point is mute . Low 7:40's . Cant even break into 7:30's.

Point is not. First lap times, HAND TIMED, and it probably isn't even dialed in yet.

Some one lock it now.

Theres nothing to respond to. Nurburgring doesnt allow street cars to be posted using slicks. So Im not worried about it. Its already documented at 7:38, which happens to be faster than your precious Z06

These are not the first lap times. GM was seen on the track last month, so obviously its not working out for them.

Great. All the ZR1 fanbois saying it will run 7:20's. There comes a point where hp just doesnt matter. Sending 620hp and over 650lbft to the rear wheels, does not equal better times. GM gonna kill someone trying to run fast times. Its just not going to happen.

I love this qoute from GM:

"....That said, the folks at Chevrolet aren't worried about the performance potential of their $100,000 halo car. According to ZR1 Chief Engineer Tadge Juechter, the ZR1 will beat the track record for production cars at any road course in the world"
