Default need some help texas members!

Got a question. I have bought a textralia clutch from a member on here that supposedly lives around the dallas area. He said that he bought this clutch direct from the manufacturer there in dallas. Well i sent him 900 of my dollars last monday, and still no clutch. I am in contact with textralia too waiting on an email from them. Is there a textralia manufacturer in dallas? This guy don't even have a tracking number and had to ask my name and address again. He told me last week it shipped out tuesday and today tells me it shipped friday. I have done business with many people on here and have never had to question anyones honesty. I will not reveal the identity of this person right now.... He has till 12 noon tomorrow to get me a tracking number. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

As far as I know there isn't a Textralia manufacturer in Dallas and if you paid him over a week ago I would be pissed.

That clutch is made in Australia. I sure there are several vendors/resellers in the DFW area.

yup, i'm pretty damn pissed... believe me! thanks guys. anyone else know for sure there definately is not a manufacturer in dallas? I know that they are made in australia but wasn't sure. he seemed like a pretty straight up guy with a great trader rating. But after reading some of his threads now has got me wondering and his inablity to provide me with a tracking number.

Here is the difference. What you are buying is almost the exact same thing as a Tex. I dont want to get a huge debate going, but its the same clutch I am running in my car. They are put together by a company locally using the same basic parts. Pm me with the seller name and info. BTW, it grabs like a bitch. I love it.

Almost the exact same thing? I think that needs further explanation, all clutches are made with the same basic parts, but they all aren't made equally.

Guarenteed someone on this (Texas) board knows this person, or can find him for ya..
If it were me, and it had been over 1 week since i gave the guy $900.00!!

I would be giving everyone in TX his user name.. Like Brandon (XFactor) said.. PM his name, or simply post it along with any other supporting LS1Tech traffic.

At this point it's your word against his.. and we all know there are 3 sides of the story.

Good luck.

well i like to give everyone a chance to fix the problem. I'm a nice guy and like to be treated that way. He gave me a confirmation number (which isn't a tracking number) so i will give it a couple more day's. Oh and the thread that was posted with this item, has some how dissappeared..... can't even look in my post history and find where i posted in it.

If his name was Jason, then I'm sure he'll take care of you. If that's that guy, then I've got that clutch in my car and it is a beast! If that was not his name, then maybe you should give us a little more info so we can help you out.

I don't think it'd hurt for you to go ahead and post his info. If all is well with him then everyone will know it. If not, then everyone will know it.

Post the user name to possibly save someone else some trouble.

That sounds like Jason's clutches but I know for a fact that he doesnt charge that much. Second of all it is basically the same clutch with a better pressure plate. I work for the shop that does Jason R&R work and have this clutch in my car. Installed numerous in customers cars also

Somewhere in the neighborhood of 430 RWHP and it handles 4000RPM clutch dumps with NO PROBLEM! That's my personal experience, but I've heard others with more RWHP and dumping at 6000.

well see, if that is all this clutch is gonna hold... i'm gonna be pretty pissed. Thats why i'm pulling my ls7 out. I'm putting down over right at 520, and when i go to the 150 shot will be in the neighborhood of 570. It is supposed to be the z grip.
