I know the LT1's are not the best in this regard... just curious.

Also, would there be a issue using the HSR with LT4 heads? Seeing how a lot of us are running the LT4 style head, be it stock casting or aftermarket.
There shouldnt be a problem with nitrous. We are fabbing the fuel rails for the HSR and not using the stock components. The MSD stuff we are using will accommodate stock attachment points.

As for the LT4, we will have to add material to the HSR and fab. I guess Holley never though of there manifold being used on LT4 heads.

When I say wet distribution, I mean any puddling of fuel from a wet shot (fogger nozzle) sprayed through the TB, or any lean cylinder issues.

I'm VERY interested if you guys decide to accommodate the LT4 setups.

Can you post any pictures? I'd like to see the work you've done. Are you just milling the intakes to reduce the runner length?

I misunderstood you. Im really not sure. We really haven't dealt with nitrous applications much. I could find out for you though.

Making these HSRs for LT4 heads would almost be a must. I know tons of guys running them. Don't want to leave them out in the cold, or worse yet, with an edelbrock.

I'll get some pics of a prototype this week. It may not be pretty, but its a prototype. At least it will show you the design.

We're doing a combination of a couple of things to squeeze it under. We want to keep the flow characteristics of the intake. With any machining, we want to keep at least 270cfm.Too much off the top of the runners will kill it. With what we put on the vette, it gave it more power and torque up to 6200rpm over the stocker. We had to mill it down pretty good though just to make it fit which im sure hurt the flow. Hopefully we can get it under your guys hoods without cutting so much.

Ok, we've ordered a HSR and will start dicing it up when it gets here Friday. I want to thank everybody for their info and advice. It really helped us out. When we get the prototype made, I'll post some pics. We have somebody on this board you will run it on his stock/bolt-on car and give us feedback. If all go's well and the #s reflect it, We'll start pumping them out. We will also make versions for H/C setups, bigger displacement and Forced Induction shortly afterwards.

the stealth ram on my car had a plate for nitrous between the top and base of the manifold. it looked like a fogger set up off of a blower it added between 1/2 - 3/8 of an inch in height.
