08 ls 6.0 hybrid I am looking at an 08 ls 6.0 hybrid to do a swap with. I am also very new to the Ls world. It there a difference that I should be worried about with the hybrid engine and did the 6.0 Ls have displacement on demand?

The LFA 6.0 that you have has both VVT and AFM/DOD.
The stock cam is 200/208, .472/.479, 116 LSA.
Heads are 243/799 cathedral ports (good heads!)
It has 332HP and 367#/ft torque.
What are your plans for the engine?

I am looking to buy the engine and put in chevelle. my question is just for 1500 buying price am i making a mistake? is the hybrid engine the same as a regular LS? can I eliminate the DOD? should I hold off and keep looking for a different LS?. i just want to put a cam in it maybe a supercharger later. I literaly know nothing about LS engines. The owner old me it came out of an 08 hybrid tahoe.

awesome, going from old school big cam big compression more power the LS world seems a little daunting lol. Is this a good engine? to eleminate the truck style intake i seen holly has good reviews, any recommendations or recommendations for wiring harnesses?

What are you swapping it into? You might have enough room for the truck intake which is actually pretty good.
You have a very good engine. So good that you'll find it has a very good intake, decent heads, and a strong lower end and block.
The only thing you MIGHT need is a different cam. That's why I ask what its use will be.

All the hybrid tahoes have an aluminum 6liter engine. The hybrid part of this equation is simply the Tahoe itself had battery OR 6 liter power. That’s a great engine to start with. Grab it!!!
