Default What To Get????

I am fixing to get some stuff to detail my car. I normally use gold class wash and wax from meguiars along with there tire shine. I like it, but think there are better things i can more than likely use. I have heard good things about zaino, pinnacle and tropi care. I noticed pinnacle is hella pricey though and I don't really want to pay more than $130 for Car Wash, Tire Shine, Interior Cleaner, Clay bar, and some type of sealer. So far i have looked at 3 different things. My meguiars but with pinnacle wax, all meguiars or zaino.

The pinnacle wax I would prolly get
http://www.pinnaclewax.com/pinnacle-...paste-wax.html

The zaino kit I would get
http://www.zainostore.com/Merchant2/...ct_Code=ZKIT-2

Tropi-Care I looked at, but am not sure about
http://www.tropi-care.com/Deluxe_Det...t_p/tc-dlx.htm

What I would Get From Meguiars

Bump...Btw this is a daily driven car that gets washed once every 1-2 weeks religiously. I just want it to be more immaculate then it already is and look super clean when I go to the track on November 28th.

All that stuff from the meguiars page you can get in stores so if you want to do that and save on shipping you can. Personally Id get the new NXT 2.0 wax instead of the older. Its easier to use and easier to take off.

The detail kit from Tropicare is really if you have a PC already and know how to use it. Itll take a LONG time doing it by hand to get the material brokedown and for it to work.

All in all Id say what you have with the Meguairs will work. The scratchX and colorX really work best with a machine also.

I just used the Zainos two weeks ago. It made my car look pretty good, but wasn't worth the outrageous price in my opinion. If I could go back, I'd just buy the Z2 show polish, but everything else I'd go with another company. Thats just what I'd do.

really depends what your trying to do. are you trying to get swirls out or just for shine? If your just going for shine then zaino is the way to go but if you need to cut the paint to get swirls out then i would get poorboys, assuming you have a polisher (portal cable is best imo). Also if your trying to get swirls out then you need pads, you will not get swirls out by hand... dont care who tells you you can, you cant. if you have deep swirls then your gonna need a few different pads and a few different polishes. Also before you polish you should always use a clay bar to get all the crap outta your paint, especially since its a DD. polishing a car with crap in the paint will only make your swirls worse b/c it will pick up the crap in the paint and swirl it around on the car.

I am trying to get the swirls out and shine it. it was painted less than a year ago, so its minimal swirls nothing huge. They have a pc were my dad works, that i can use. I am going to use a clay bar first. Just am not 100% sure what I am going to get yet.

Without a Porter Cable your options are limited at best. To get the best results you need to purchase one of them.

Above I said I can get a porter cable from my dads work. They have one that I can borrow anytime.
