Default Custom Exports for camaro

Was wondering what you guys thought of these ? I had em done at a speed shop by a buddy. He first wet sanded the numbers off as with the whole lenze and buffed to a new shine. Then taped of the reverse and the turn as well as the factory black seperater lines on the lenze and sprayed with a transparent red then cleared the whole tail light, cured em then wet sanded and buffed again!I loved the look of these babys !But am doing a custom tail light panel with vette l lights in itright now ,so i put these in the sales sect. But was just wanting you guys to check em out before their gone !

Those look pretty clean but why do that to export tail lights? They look like regular 97+ tail lights now. Good work though. They do look pretty trick and original.

Ya way to much red since the car is red. Would probably look better on the different color car. But I still like the original candy corn.

They don't look bad, but I would have left the exports looking like candy corn.

That and they really aren't an export taillight also because you switched the brake and turn signal. We all know exports use the outer light as a turn signal and you are using it like the stockers (as a brake lamp).

Nice idea but it probably would have been better on some LT1 tails

I like them but your car is red so you have less contrast now with them being being red.

I think if you re-wired them to work as sequentials it could look cooler... Otherwise I would have saved the money spent on the export and just done the same thing to the stockers like I did (cost like $5 for the translucent paint from a hobby store):

Tape off, scuff with scotch brite pad, clean with rubbing alcohol, spray with translucent red.

I also buffed with a power ball...
