Default putting in new carpet any one do this??

i am putting in new carpet and want to know if anyone has done this. Where should i get the rug from? Summint sells a complete set for 280 also I am going to put down some sound barrier material any ideas on that? thanks

i am also working on putting in new carpet in my 2000 ws6 and i happen to find a carpet on ebay out of a car that only had 5,500 miles on it so im still kinda new to whats going on but i got the carpet for 65 bucks....

yeah some dynamat or hush sound would do you well with sound deadening. since i race all the time im going to be putting cool it mat down with ozite over the top to save on the weight. you could probablly find a nice set of used carpet on here, or ebay or if you want new sets do a google search and im sure youcan find something.

Replacement carpet comes in 2 different types really. There is Premolded carpet which may still need to be "ironed" into place, as well as cut to fit. Then theres Premolded and precut which is direct replacement really.

i replaced my entire interior from tan to black, but i bought used stuff from other people. i love it. its really easy to do, but the non-oem carpet is a pain in the ***.
