Default cages, plastics..

i know you can cut the carpet to wrap around the bar and hide the cuts, but this is boggling my mind...
how do you get the plastics around it... with out cutting it...?

these are the pictures i saw while searching cages just now

p.s. hope owners don't mind i re posted these pictures..
if so please pm me

you can use them but its just prett pointless. a lot of people that put cages that have a lot of bars tend to switch the carpeting to the lighter ozite. normally people glue it in so you can but up the seams really nice and you could barely tell.

If you are talking about the speaker covers, you have to eyeball it as you go. Start by cutting from the side towards the front of the car--so you can't see the cuts from the back. Cut out to about where the center of the bar would be and cut a hole smaller than the bar diameter. The twist the speaker cover (grab one side of the cut and push, grab the other and pull) to open your cut so you can slip it over the bar and test fit. Then remove it and make your final cuts. Once you are done, you can't see the cuts as the clips hold everything in place and together.

Agreed! If you put people back there, they'd better have a helmet on their heads. Even a minor accident could cause a fatal head injury.

i had the bolt in style, so you slide the interior piece over the bar then slide the bat into place where it connects up top.

ive fit people in the back before. they have to be careful getting back there, riding back there, and getting out but otherwise its not too bad

Is ^that^ a 5 or 6 point? I want a cage without the bars that go along the drivers and passanger seat so that would be a 4pt right?

that would just be a roll bar. no point in putting a full cage if your not gonna have door bars. or you could get swing out bars.

Yes, you would want a 4 point roll bar.

And the picture above, it is impossible to tell if it's a 5 or 6 without another angle.
