We're going CF just for safety (strength so it won't fly off)... I don't think we'll offer it in fiberglass unless a hard top guy just wants to glue it on for the updated look...

Again, you don't HAVE to remove the center bar to use this, you can just unscrew the t-top bracket and latch this on. You CAN cut the center bar out to make it a full targa if you want to but you MUST at least have boxed SFCs first...

Count me in FER SURE! I guess I need to go back to the Pick-A-Part and get the t-tops off the car they had there (I would have already, but I'd never put them on my car since there kinda strange with a full dot matrix over the whole thing. anyone every seen any like this?).

ohhh I'm so down. I remember talking to you a while back through PM about the targa and how I've tried designing my own and what not. I can't wait to see your plan put into action.

dude I'd go get those if I were you...they're rare as ****. If I'm not mistaken they were an option for 93-95 cars. I'd love to have a set.

Hmm...I new the later model LT1s and all LS1s didn't have them, but I figured it was either a rare factory thing or a company making replacement glass made them like that...

I just hope there both still there when I go back...I guess since there so rare I could offer them up on here for a little $$ plus some standard style. I'd hate to get a set of them and bust em up for the targa if there rare and desirable...

^^They are worth money if someone needs to match one they have. Most guys just "upgrade" the the newer style (clearer view of the sky and you just put shades on when you don't want it)...

Or have it busted in you. LOL

It's good to see that you're continuing to make products that aren't available anywhere else.

Disturbed Bird, this is from post #87:

I am not sure if anyone has asked, but what about a targa for TransAm ? This would allow another option on those of us that the glue is bubbling...

Since you guys pulled that stock roof panel are you going to use that as the base for the mold? Basically, glass around it or something? I have a wrecked 2000 Camaro in my driveway under a car cover that I am going to attempt this on. If it doesn't work out I didn't lose anything, but if it does I am going to transfer it over to my 95.
