Help with color scheme...
Well, I finally picked up my TA a couple of weeks ago and have been trying to figure out what color to do the "Trans Am" door emblems in. My car is black with chrome ZR1s and no ram air. I am considering red, silver, or sunset orange. I want the car to be different yet subtle so right now i'm leaning towards sunset orange. Does anyone have further suggestions or maybe some pics? All help would be greatly appreciated Thanks
Chris

Re: Help with color scheme...
I think i made some kind of decision...no red, its a little too common plus my buddy has a red TA with black accents. Thought of a new color though (since Firebat can get pretty much anything, thanks for link Josh ) What about Electron blue for the front bird and Trans Am emblems?? I love it on the new vettes.
Thoughts, suggestions, etc??

Re: Help with color scheme...
Chrome is too flashy for me. I want understated and different. I'm strongly considering SOM right now (never seen this combo before), but if i go that route i'm not sure what color to do the STB, suspension, etc. Plus, my car might come out looking like a Halloween mascot or something Anyhow, thanks for the help...keep it coming!!

Re: Help with color scheme...
do a medium blue, or for a real appealing look do as i did (granted different colors and on pewter) but i did a color overlay for my firebat decals. i had the front plate done with the very end wingtips(fire) done in red and the actual bird and tail done in black. the side decals were black with a .5mm red trim and same on the rear insert. from close up it looks stellar and from a distance it looks like a blend of the colors.
my recommendation would be to do medium blue with a lighter, almost baby blue trim. i think that would be very different as im finding mine is, and also provide you with a good color scheme to build on. good luck.
