Default Need opinions on drag wheels

I'll be getting drag wheels and tire soon.
probably 15x3.5 fronts
15x8 or 9 on the back.
drag lights or convo pros?
pros and cons of each.
Which one takes less grinding?
Are they the same weight?
I haven't decided on a full slick or a DOT slick.
But who makes the best?
What kind of lugs do I need to make it legal at
the track?
Will I need spacers?
Sorry for all the questions.I just want to find
the best solution.

Draglights/Prostars 15x8 with 5.5" backspacing = grind the **** out of the calipers to make fit without spacer or grind not as much and run a 5/16th spacer ( my prefrence if you only run them at the track because of weaking the calipers with excessive grinding)

http://jsears8.cz28.com/prostars/grinding

Convo Pros need no grinding in the rear and a 5/16th spacer, and they feel a little lighter to me.

Slicks? I run Mickey Thompson ET Drags. Do not drive on the street with these or any other full slick. They will wear down fast and are easy to pop. Hoosier makes a DOT slick ( Hoosier Quick Time Pro).

Convo's are the lightest street duty rim. They are also the most durable. The soft aluminum of the welds will smear from the lug nuts. I run welds on my car at all times. You wont have any problems driving a 3500 pound car on 15X8's and 15X3.5's.

No spacers are needed for the Centerlines. I have 15x8.5 (5"bs) in the rear with 26x9.5 Hoosiers and 15x4 (1.75"bs) up front with 26x4.5 Morosos. All this and Sportline springs, too. It's a tight fit, but I can actually drive them on the street w/o clearence problems. The rears do stick out of the wheel wells about a 1/2".

moroso 26x4.5
5/16 spacer for the backs.

No tubes

With spacers might those rears stick out too much?

A little grinding is easy

Ditto on open end lugs for back

I can't find open end lugs in that size,
any help?
John- I heard they will stick out 1/2 inch.
That's cool for me at the track.
I'll put them on w/ the spacer, see how they look.
If I don't like it, i'll grind. <img src="gr_stretch.gif" border="0">
