From one SOM owner to another, Awesome build! I saw this a few months ago and forgot about it.
Can't wait to see the final product. I want to do a 416 LS3, AFR heads, FAST 92, 240 244 114 Cam for my car this winter if all goes well. Goal is around 525 RWHP.
Hopefully you do a basic webpage that shows all the pics and specs of your project, it will be one that I would visit from time to time!

Well fellas, it's been a while since i posted anything interesting, and it'll be a while longer. Today, right as i was clocking out at work, my supervisor came and asked me to go to Memphis for a week to do some field service work. Sooooo....i won't be home to work on the car BUT when i get back, i'll be a little richer and i also have a guy interested in buying my bike....which in lamens terms means the car will be finished sooner than later now

....and thanks for that powderbythepound link 3.8redbird. I'm probably going to order some OSU orange from them now, my powdercoater ordered from his vendor and they lost the order, so apparently he's sick of them and switching suppliers.
I spent the last week and half in a powerplant in Osceola, Arkansas (near Memphis, TN) doing field service work. I made a little extra cash in the process so i ordered the hood and am shopping for a water pump.
As for the intake situation: I've slowly come to the realization that my desire for a ITB or custom sheetmetal intake is being surpassed by my inability to sell my motocycle and lack of overtime at work. The reality of the situation is that i'm most likely going to order a ported FAST 96mm combo painted SOM from Vengeance. The motor was originally built with that in mind and that's what the cam was ground for. I'm just not going to be able to afford a $3500-$4500 intake now. If there comes a time when i CAN, i should easily be able to sell my cam and intake in favor of a new intake and another custom grind. Bills have also taken a priority, so when i cut my intake budget in half, i'll have that much more money to pay stuff off with.
The ultimate goal that i would like everyone here to keep in mind is that i'm trying to maintain my attention to detail and performance goals, while finishing the car as fast as possible so i can stop spending money on it, pay stuff off, and finish my mechanical engineering degree i tried to start 5 years ago....hopefully this coming fall.

i'm about 90% positive CCW doesn't have vendors, you have to buy directly from them. Their website is www.ccwheel.com OR you can sit around waiting on some to come up for sale on here or another forum.
