I RARELY go to STL for any reason, and i can almost guarantee my car will never go there. KC maybe, but i doubt STL. When i picked the car up in Chicago 2 years ago, i drove through STL with it on a trailer, but that's it. I'm not a huge fan of that town/area and never have a reason to go there. I'd probably take it up there for a big show/race/cruise though if one came up.

well thats a damn shame then. youre car is gorgeous and its gonna haul some ***. im actually not in st louis, im out about 20-30 miles away in st peters, far enough away from all that trash downtown. its real nice out here. if i actually lived in st louis or the immeadiate metro area, well, i wouldnt try to own a nice car or any nice things, if ya know what i mean. and id be packin but seriously, it is a **** hole down there, i can understand why youd never go, only thing good is the race track (Gateway) across the border.

no, just the top left, the middle part where the lug holes are looks like a different shape. unless it's just from the pic?

Didn't do as much as i'd hoped last night, but it was hot as hell and we all ended up sitting around BSing until 2am. Despite the tomfoolery, i spent a lot of time re-organzing the shop and cleaning up a bit after we finished the TH350 swap in that twin turbo WS6...but i got a little done on my car:

Front end is now loosely assembled. i'm still waiting on the right strut mounts to come in. i got them both a couple days ago, but the hardware on them didn't match. One (pictured) has gold-anodized studs and the other side had black oxide coated studs that were 1/4" shorter than the other side. Normally i wouldn't care, but in case you didn't notice, the car is kind of a show car, so i didn't want different color/length studs stcking through the fender wells. I re-ordered the driver's side mount, and it showed up in black just like the first one. SO...my guy at O'reilly's ordered 5 mounts from their KC store hoping at least one will be gold. Those won't be here until wednesday it seems.

I managed to get the upper A-arm mounts painted, they were forgotten when it came time to go to the powdercoater, but you can't see them anyway so whatever. The steering rod holes in the spindles got drilled out to the necessary 1/2" to accomodate the bolts supplied with the BMR rack.

I'm going fishing today, but will possibly do a little more work on the car tonight. If i do, i'll post pictures as usual...

It's the drag racing package. If it looks beefy, it's because it is a little beefier than other K-members out there. The extra weight kinda sucks, but it isn't much and this piece won't deflect as much as others would with only one tube across the middle.

^ Thanks man, i'm getting really anxious.

Tried to work on it a bit last night, ended up making 3 trips into town for little parts and upper ball joints...which were $107 for the pair All i really ended up doing was put the upper A-arm on one side, adjust the coilover up a bit, and decided to re-powdercoat my calipers before i put it all together....BUT progress was made. Tomorrow my driver's side strut mount SHOULD be here so i'll button up the front end, minus the brake calipers that will be off to the powdercoater.

i knew that was going to be pointed out...thought it would have taken longer. Thanks, man

I guess i'll go ahead and paint them. I WOULD have had them powdercoated, but i didn't see any way to pull the electronics out easily/safely....

Brush some Por15 on those biotches

Edit: I'm overly jealous of how clean your car is. If I had a garage my car would totally be apart for a "restoration". My OCD would be in overdrive.
