it's gettin' close!
The Best V8 Stories One Small Block at Time
The water pump is here, on the motor now. It took almost 3 weeks to arrive
wiring is in progress. I ordered ARP 12-pt stainless bolts for the pump.Fuel pump relay is finally done, i have pictures of its location and how i ran the power wire to the alternator.
Intake is on the motor, but not bolted down yet, fuel system will be 100% complete tomorrow, i just need to hook the feed up to the rail and make the line that goes from the other rail to the regulator.
I decided upon Autometer Cobalt Digital gauges so my Innovate LC-1's DB Blue gauge would match. i'm going to have to get some hyper white or possibly blue LED's for my stock gauges now to make the interior flow properly. The sending units are installed, just need to do the final wiring.
There are a few other loose ends to tie up, like recovering the stock engine harness with new looms and putting in the radiator, but it is entirely possible that i could start the car this week.
PICS WILL BE POSTED HERE SHORTLY

Gauge senders installed

Relay hidden in console, power wire run through shift boot, under the car and up to the alternator post with a fuse in line.

Gauge pod with Autometer Cobalt Digital Fuel pressure and coolant temp. My Innovate DB gauge is in the mail, i had a red one but sold it for a blue one.

And finally, the water pump:

If it weren't for this bad boy, i wouldn't be working on the car at all. It took the 30x42' shop from 38 degrees to almost 60 degrees in about an hour.
