Rick does most all of my coatings, but we couldn't ever find a powder in his sample book I was comfortable with ordering. I didn't want to end up with the brakes being a shade off and have to fool with redoing them. Sean, "the powder pro," did them. I saw a pic on his site of some SOM calipers and decided to go for it.

I sent my ECM to Frost for a basic tune to get it going. My gauges are all but finished. All that's left is get the ECM back and run a couple more wires is it's pretty much done. I also need to finish welding up my torque arm brace, but that's not big deal. The car still needs tires and the hood painted, but that's not preventing it from starting this weekend.
I'll try to get a decent quality video, but i doubt it will happen. I mean...the entire exhaust consists of 2" x 3.5" headers...and nothing else...so it's gonna be loud

i'm waiting to post a few pictures...it looks like there's actually been some regression becuase i've taken a few parts off to rearrange and install others...but pics will come soon

Yeah i've got a shitload of pictures...i don't even want to think how many...i would kind of like to see it all put down in chronological order without pages of random posts in between though...
Thats what I did with mine. made me realize how little ive done, and so ive been out there a lot more lately.

Tried to start it....made great oil pressure after 45 seconds of cranking....wouldn't fire...finally fired but wouldn't run....fuel pressure started around 20psi and wouldn't maintain...finally dropped into single digits and it wouldn't fire any more.
Spark is good...pump wiring is good...cooling system works...gauges work....I'm giving up for the night since its 2am...gonna drop the tank in the morning and check the pump and the hose in the tank....I'll keep you all posted.
