Thanks everybody!

I just finished bleeding my brakes and clutch, that triple disc is pretty stout, i hope i can stand driving it all over the place...

Hopefully tomorrow i'll finish the welding and get it on the ground. i'm trying to get it back at my house this weekend since all the real work is done. I haven't ordered a new throttle body yet, waiting on my tax return to be deposited for that.

All i've got left that i CAN do right now is wire up my line lock, weld out the TA brace and DSL, and put the wheels back on it. That should all be done this week. i also just ordered my shift **** to accomodate the linelock:

96mm NW TB came in today, pics below...i've got some serious clearance issues with my torque arm, driveshaft, and floor pan. not a HUGE deal, but i'm going to have to cut it back apart (just tacked, not welded) and re-fit it slightly different than it is.

i'm going out to work on it now, gonna port the intake to match the TB and probably get the hole drilled a bit bigger on the blade then see if the car will learn how to idle on its own. i can't explain why it did in the video i posted, that's the only time it has.

On a slightly related note, overtime has bombarded my shop, so i'm working a TON of hours. not good for car progress in terms of time to work, but awesome in terms of expendable cash to buy parts with....not that there's much left.

Edit: I also have the shifter ****. i sold my 3" in-4" out Flowmaster Y-merge and bought a 3 1/2" in-4" out...the 3" inlet merge was for my 1 7/8" headers, i forgot i sold them for 2" headers that have 3 1/2" collectors

Be careful when you install that ****. If you screw it down too much, you will cut the wire. Ask me how I know

^ good call....i'll be careful. What i was actually thinking about doing though, is taking my shifter to work and boring a hole in it, then drilling another hole into that one at the base (under the shift boot) and running the wires inside the shifter handle and out the bottom, so you couldn't see them coming out of the ball and down into the boot....i may not mess with it...but i might...i need to actually look at the stick and see what i can do.

If you're able to drill a hole in the stick, i'd pay you to do mine! That's a great idea. You really wouldnt need to drill one that deep. Maybe and inch or two. The boot it's self would keep it pretty much hidden.

i can probably do it for you if you want, i may not do mine...haven't decided if it's REALLY worth the hassle...get ahold of me sometime if you want to see the car. i'll be working on it all day tomorrow after 1:00pm.

Got some good progress done today: the torque arm and driveshaft loop are welded in...still gotta shoot some paint on it, but it is welded and done. Clearance issues are resolved: i got a shorter bolt for the TA mount up front and a low profile nylock nut, then cut the brace back off and re-fit it so the bolt no longer hits the tunnel or the driveshaft. Tomorrow i gotta get the LCA relo brackets welded in and try to align the front end a bit. At that point, it will be going on the ground

Cell phone pics, camera was dead, but you get the idea...

LCA relocation brackets are in:

got some bugs to line out with the front suspension/steering, but it's coming along nicely, almost ready for a drive
