S86 needles came in today, Thanks Mike and Mark.
I'll get them in sometime this week. My car is still at my buddy's body shop. they're going to get started on it tomorrow morning. The car should be done wednesday or thursday.
I've actually got someone else's Z28 in my garage right now, swapping out the tranny for a built 4L60. So i'll be busy on a camaro, just not an orange one, for the next couple days.
In case some of you haven't quite put it together, my car will pretty much be FINISHED this week. Yes it needs tires still. Yes it needs wheels/tires for the track. Yes it isn't fully tuned. BUT, it will be all assembled and driveable. i can't wait.

I'm picking up a new welder sometime, a Miller Dynasty 200 DX. this involves driving halfway across the state to pick it up, so there's one day shot.
I've got to buy a new laptop, to load my HP Tuners Pro on to
I need to order tires for the SS, i mean the $$.
I'm doing a tranny swap for a guy, whose car is currently in my garage, while mine is at the body shop.
And most important of all, i've got a lot of fishing to do this weekend
Our company bass tournament is coming up and i love nothing more than taking my supervisors' money, so i need to pre-fish the **** out of the lake. The next time i post pictures on here, it will most likely be of a completed car. I just hope i have time to clean it all up for the pics. it hasn't had a proper bath since february '08

ill start a new thread when I get my longblock, as it should only be a couple weeks between then and it running. I hope.
Im a few months behind you, mine was torn down 12/08. I cant wait to clean her up. lol

Yes they do!!! and it's not done yet, BUT.....
May i present to you, after its maiden voyage home from the body shop, my 99% complete 2001 SS, sporting a new 454 LSX/T56/9" combo, iForged Aero wheels, and VFN 3" SS hood. the 6LE grille still needs installed along with the grille for the hood scoop, but other than that and tires, its exterior is complete i believe. Better pics will follow pending interior completion and a clean-up.
