I've got more pictures of the process but am out in the field right now with no computer. Go into the appearance hall of fame sticky and look for "blue odometer"....i think.....or search for it....if I recall there was a link to another thread in there with some more details. I'll shoot you some even better pics when I get back home. It's a fairly simple mod if you have some basic tools and can solder.

no not yet, been street tuning it. finally made some WOT pulls and its wicked. i have to do it in 4th gear because the tires get blown off above 3500rpm in 3rd and 1st/2nd gear are useless...and that's with conservative timing....need some track tires on it. my 315/30/18 BFG drag radials are just for looks

Im jealous, I wont be able to Power Tour with you, hopefully next year.

it's doing great so far. i've only made it to Hardy, Arkansas as of right now, but today i'm shooting for Cocoa Beach.
The car actually got 19mpg on the way here, but these Ozark mountains are putting a stop to that The tires aren't going to make it, if i can find some some on the way or on the route, i'll definately buy a pair, but i don't know where to even look. Other than that, it hasn't got hot, oil psi is great, AFR is great, fuel psi is great...... hoping it all stays that way.
Give me a shout if you make it out. from what people say, it's a blast whether you have your car or not.

You CAN'T get those valve covers without buying the crate motor. I did get very lucky.

what are your specs then? i think those heads might be letting you down a little for top end HP but it would be very torquey and spin tyres easily with those heads.
