Just thinking ahead.... dreaming of when I can rebuild...

$1100 to get my heads ported/milled (WCCH)
$1500 for titanium intake valves/stainless exhaust valves
$1600 for jesel shaft rockers
$200 for new pushrods
$400 for new cam (~264/278 108LSA .700 lift)
$2000 for Kinsler ITB Intake
$800 for dome pistons

800WHP???

The last engine I saw with a Kinsler ITB was built by Katech and barely made 700 crank hp.

I think you'll be surprised how hard it is to make 600 rwhp.

Not that im claiming to be an expert by anymeans, but C6Z's have been doing a pretty good job at putting down 600+ at the wheels...

Uuuuuhhhhh, not even close Trev...

Honestly, you'd be better off (price wise) looking into a nice sheetmetal set-up. But again, it'll be north of where your estimate is....almost double.

Brian's right. I just cracked the 730 crank horse N/A and i am running 13:7 compression and E85. It's very tuff to bust the 700 HP mark and 600 to the wheel on an F-Body with an auto takes the act of god.......

You should triple your budget for the Kinsler if you are getting the version that will fit under your hood (x ram), and all of the optional/necessary peripherals from Kinsler.

800rwhp will be a tall order even w/e85 if can spin the engine high enough.

The MAST Mozez headed engine made 860fwhp (STD) which would roughly be 826fwhp SAE (SAE is the standard most Dynojets correct to unless you ask for STD correction).

The MAST motor at 12:1 compression, solid roller cam, vertical (no compromise) Hilbourn ITBs, and the absolute best heads available for an LS engine would not even be close to 800rwhp NA in a F-Body. It also peaked at well past 8k rpm iirc.

Not trying to rain on your parade, but that example should give you some perspective when you are formulating your expectations.

I will never say never...but it's highly unlikely any NA engine (LS or otherwise) could make 800rwhp with currently available consumer parts/technology and be even remotely streetable or reliable even using e85. I guess it depends on your definition of streetable/reliable, but for me, the engine has to be able to be driven cross country w/out issue, and not require a rebuild every season.

SAMS N/A 433ci 1001HP at the crank. that would be close to 800rwhp.
As for over 600rwhp im over it at 618HP and there is still more in it with a few tweaks to the current set up add to that im still only running a fast 102 on ls7 heads

That would theoretically be over 800rwhp through a manual trans car, but again, I wouldn't consider that a streetable setup. Some might, but I wouldn't.

not streetable at all with the cam set up, put a more streetable cam might drop 50-70HP its a big big solid roller.

FWIW my car made 583/531 in some serious florida heat and the tune not completely dialed in. i'll be surprised if it cracks 600rwhp, but anything is possible on a cooler day and having the timing/fuel dialed in....but i'm not betting on it

Im running 11.6:1 on pump fuel 98 octane.
what compression are you running?
What heads? ...ported??
What Cam?
what size headers?
intake?

Just looked at yoru first page are you running the following still?
PRC LS7 265cc Head w/PRC springs
FAST 92mm Big Mouth TB (Have)
Ported LS7 Intake (Have)

If you can go the 285cc head fast 102/102throttle.

Mine also is being dynoed on a mainline dyno and next dyno im expecting a result of about 645rwhp and remembering this is on a mainline and have been proven against dynojet dyno's to be the heart breaker and read about 7% less so that would be about 690rwhp.

Looks like O.N. has our cars confused.

So, i really dont feel like typing everything out,

basically took it in for a dyno tune, bunch of stupis issues. experience was shitty. I did not feel welcome.. The car sat there for a week and a half being de-bugged, and Im not sure when the short list of problems will end. so I just picked the car up unfinished. still needs more WOT tuning, best pass was ~530 (on a mustang dyno). needs part throttle tuning also.

Not a fun experience. Not sure of my plans.
