Ws6cott what was involved to get the doors like u did. And what color seats do u think will go best with a silver SS?? I want blue but I would be safest to stay with black if blue is extreme i think. Thanks man

With a silver car I would have to say you are pretty open to your color choice. My buddy has a full custom bagged 01 Bettle that is silver and he has the Carreras in Blue. I think it looks great but the same would go for red or yellow on silver.
Now black will be the easiest to keep clean but the show properties are a bit less..
The doors were a bit of a PITA!!! The concept was simple but the execution was the problem...it requires a lot of patience and a high tolerance to nasty smelling melted plastic smoke <img src="gr_stretch.gif" border="0"> ...I used the same material as the doors to have a uniform appearance. I also diid the shift boot in the same material as well. I get tons of compliments at local shows...

Reckles...nice interior...is your cage custom or a kit? Is there any clearance issues on the sides with the side bars?? I want to switch my 4 point to a six but am not sure if thety will fit properly?? any info would be appreciated...thanks

The side bar kit comes from Chris Alston Chassis Works and is good stuff. Check them out at: www.cachassisworks.com
Everything clears OK, but I am thinking of cutting it all out and getting a friend to do a chrome moly 10-point cage before I leave Hawaii.

I gave $600 for the pair, but I think they sell for more usually. They are firm, but comfortable enough. They also recline.
