Its all good. I'm planning on selling my turbo and getting one. Should be pretty sick.

I think I might just make a window in my hood as well...Not sure yet though.

I currently have a carbon fiber SS, but I'm planning on a fiberglass Sunoco.

one of the nicest fbody ive seen.
the hood idea is unique.
if i had and extra iroc hood id do something smiliar to that .
major props for doing it your self.

Great idea. Didn't turn out too bad either. If I were in that position, I would have done it a little bit differently and used a tougher plastic such as lexan...

can you clean up the edges of the window at all? like where it's a little white. after that i would freakin rock that hood in a heartbeat.

You had my rofl until I read that it was a defective hood and saw your results. I thought you were doing that to a brand new hood I was like is this man crazy?! It came out really good but like others said something around the edges would look nice. Good work!

lol...that 'white' around the edges is primer...I wasn't finished (still not) with the molding of the window. I was running out of time and I didn't want to have all that primer showing so I just painted it satin black as a temp fix.

I still have to finish molding the window so that it is even and then I'll mask off the edges so that no 'white' is showing.

I just don't have the time right now, maybe this weekend.
