I didn't even know there was a roots type charger for the F-body...I'll have to look into that.

As far as the tinted glass...I thought it would be easier on the painted parts underneath the hood & it flows with my black theme.

I believe both sides did the right thing. VFN did their part and you did yours. I do also believe that you should be able to sell that hood, not for a profit but for how much it will cost you to paint the new hood and for the time it took you to put the window on the one that still has the imperfection. I think it is only fair. Like others have said I dont think VFN should abandon the practice of replacing defective hoods, but in the future ask for a more important piece like the front center with all the hood latch stuff or maybe multiple pieces that are cut up to reduce shipping costs. Just my two pennies.

We are not abandoning the practice of replacing any defective hoods. One thing we pride ourselves on is our customer service...but we will definitely change our policy about sending the hood back and how it comes back prior to sending a new item out.
Just wanted to explain this so nobody got the wrong idea about what we will do in the future.

If you don't mind having to cut a section of your firewall out to make it fit.

you dont have to do that with the MTI racing blower.... you use spacers to lower your k-member slightly and it fits fine after

Yes....You do. You have to do both. The spacers are 1/4" and the cut is very minimal, but you do have to cut the cowl a little. They even include the patch.
