The entire hood would have to have been repaited, I just got my car painted at the end of Oct.

I used a 3/16" piece of tinted plexiglass (had to bake it so that it could be "formed").

To graft it, I used some serious epoxy & custom plexiglass tabs along with body filler to finish it.

It was a lot of work...

doesnt look bad, just needs a little something to cover up the edges... maybe something like the ZR1 has.

Looks good, but I would honestly take it to a professional to get it to look more flush and hopefully get rid of what seems to look like a masking tape perimeter... IMO

I really like the whole idea of it. I dont like how it is on your hood though. It needs a lip that the plexi sits on and then attaches to that. you need to make a ring out of something, say MDF. Attach that to the hood and fiberglass it into place. Finish it off and paint it. then cut the plexi to fit into the area. you can heat it to form it like you said. then attach it to the bottom of the hood and secure it.

But the car is ****!!!
