That's not true. I'm not trying to debate this issue, but our slots on our current grille are true to the LS1 ram air hood. I know because all of my slots are taped up and applied to my factory piece. The LT1 openings are about twice as tall, and that will result in you seeing the factory LS1 grille behind it, and blocking off some airflow from otherwise open areas.

I will go out tomorrow and take a close up picture of my grille to show you how it looks through the openings. I can promise you that our current design more accurately follows the factory LS1 grille than the LT1 grille design would.
