Sticky Remover??

Default Sticky Remover??

Hey guys need suggestions..how the hell do I get rid of this sticky on my dash of the Firehawk?


When I bought my car about a month ago, the original owner had a radar detector on the dash and used one of those double-sided sticky stickers things .. anyways it left that sticky part on the dash. I've been trying to use Meguiars Shine for Vinyl and Rubber to remove it but it doesn't really do the trick. I don't want to discolor the dash, it's right on the hard plastic part of the dash, not the soft plastic. Any Suggestions?

cool we have that at my job, will it work safely? it's near the vent on my dash right in the center. Won't discolor it?

I have never had any issues with it and taken stuff off plastics, paint and glass.

Just dont pour it on. Use a rag and let it soak into the sticky stuff first.

Another vote for Goo Gone, but I've never tried the 3M stuff - knowing 3M, it probably works pretty well.

I've used my favorite wonder spray... WD-40 to remove glue residue. Works great. Then you can use standard cleaners to remove any WD-40 "slickness".
