Default Engine Bay Before/After

Hey guys,

I'm kinda bored and I was looking through my pics, and I thought it was a big improvement from when I got the car to now. It's nothing DRASTIC like I painted the whole engine bay, but definitely a big improvement
Plus I need some opinions!

When I got the car, after cleaning it

And now:

I was just curious what you guys think, any suggestions, or anything? BESIDES wire mod, cause I don't feel like drilling into my car

You guys think I should paint anything else or polish anything? Any suggestions welcome
Thanks everyone

I think it looks great. I would cut the battery strap off. And paint the lower lid to match the lid.

Did you fill that dent on the lid yourself?

Not much else to do.

Since you're looking for suggestions...

Get rid of the Hooker sticker
Paint bumper support (if not yet painted)
Polish AC
Re-route the wires for your sub (I think that's what it is)

Seriously though, it's great as-is. Just hoping to give you some tips.

Looks good. I don't like how people get the TB a different color from the intake and lid. I think it would look better being the same color as the intake or at least black. Still looks good tho.

You might want to do a little more body work on your lid. It doesn't look to bad but you can see exactly where the big hunk of bondo is. My suggestion would be, if the dent is really deep, it would better to use something like duraglass to fill it in. Bondo isn't meant to be applied really thick. Fill it with duraglass, sand that down, then skim coat with the bondo to make it flat. primer it, then guide coat it. Then paint it, and it will look great.

But other than the lid still needing some attention, everything else looks great.

Yeah i photoshopped the lid gunmetal, it didn't look right. And idk where the dent came from, I didn't notice it the day I looked at the car, but I brought it home like that.

The wire mod if DEFINATELY worth the drilling!!! You bay looks GREAT. One of these days I'll have to go OCD on my filthy bay!

My suggestions:
1. WIRE MOD
2. Paint radiator support to match body
3. Paint headlight brackets to match body
4. Wire Mod
5. Hide ground wires and Amp wire
6. Fuel Rail Covers!
7. Wire Mod
8. relocate battery to spare tire well.

I can walk you thru the wire mod as to how EASY it really is if you need. It'll suprise you when you do it how simple it goes.
