Default Just a few pics from recent details...

Hey guys,

I've been busy lately. I figured I would post a few exterior pics up of my latest victims...

The girlfriend's car...

My daily driver...

My buddy's show camaro (991 points after detail at Winternationals)

My other friend's camaro...

My roommate's car...

...and that was just one week. LoL

I use a Flex polisher, Menzerna Intensive Polish with a LC orange pad, Menzerna Nano Polish with a white LC pad, Wolfgang 3.0 Paint Sealant with a red LC pad, Menzerna Paint Glaze with a red LC pad, Pinnacle Carnuba wax by hand.

As for the before and afters, I have a few.

ONE DETAIL:

Headlights After...

Back Hatch After...

After First Pass...

After Second Pass...

(After wipe down and wax)

SECOND DETAIL:

Initital Start Time: 9:30am

After first wash and clay...

After second wash and dried...

Before...

After...

Before...

After...

Bye bye burn out box...

Dried and ready for buffer prep...

Masked off...

Time for lunch. 12:45pm.

Started buffing at 1:00pm.

After the first pass... 3:00pm

After the second pass...5:00pm

After Wax...(DONE) 6:00pm

Finish time: 6:15pm

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

As for the cost of a full detail, it depends on the car. Generally I start around $150.00 and it goes up from there. If the car is very dirty, it costs more. If there is rubber in the wheel wells, it costs more. If the interior is very dirty...you guessed it...it costs more.

Damn man, how many years did it take you to develop your skill at detailing? I start to lose patience after an hour of detailing my own damn car.

I've only been detailing for about 3 years total.

I've only been charging for details and doing them for other people for the past year or so.

It's not hard to do. It just takes patience.

A lot of this and learning from the results you see on the surface.
