I'm picking up the bezel and lens today, so I should be able to post up pics by tomorrow afternoon installed in a 98 TA. If they don't fit right, I'll just modify them to fit.

So here are some crappy night pics... I was dropping off a bezel for Qcon and also had friend's Camaro bezel for him so I snapped some pics with the overlays I had in the car while waiting for Qcon...

Qcon came up with the best idea for mounting them. There are four places where the bezel overlaps into the lens (the black plastic part) because it extends up at a slant and doesn't cover the whole overlay (same way from the factory).

SO, instead of trimming the extra 1/4" or so off the bezel, he is just going to notch the plastic lens part, slide the bezel in, throw a little epoxy on the bottom outside and you have a 6LE Bezel set up like a Trans-Am bezel (just clip it onto the cluster).

I may sell some like this (already modded) but the price will basically triple (because I have to buy a NEW lens, can't sell you guys used ones, and then take the time to do it) to $125-$150 and that's IF I can find a bunch of lenses...

I say let me keep them cheap for you guys/gals and just take the 10 minutes to mod it yourselves... We'll see.

Well, its been said a few times already, but, these bezels are made for 6LE's gauges is why it looks off in my car, i have stock gauges. And i know my car is really really nice, but believe it or not, it didnt take the factory over two years to make it lol!! Its a 96. was that cheesy?

Actually, it will fit your stock gauges just fine after you either:

1) Slot the factory bezel/lens to accept them and then epoxy at the bottom to hold them onto the lens/bezel itself (end result looks like a Trans-Am bezel but with my bezel)

OR

2) Remove the overhang of the bezel (that you would normally slot the factory piece to accept) and the 3M them (double sided tape or adhesive) on...

Do what he did and it will look great NOW and you can easily transfer it to the new overlays LATER

Wow great job QCON. I was thinking about trimming it up a little but if i were to slot it i could use it now and with my stock gauges huh? Very nice!
