Default eBay vs stull - grilles..

Sorry guys, don't have timeto search (hate me for that later) but, anyone have any good info in differences between the 2? From pictures the only difference I see is the stull grille has an extra vertical support in the middle.
Any opinions on quality etc? I'll be getting a black one, not polished

Also, just as a side note. I read in another thread earlier that a good ss emblem to use would be the grille emblem from a 69 rs/ss. Any thoughts on that? Thanks guys... Appreciate any info

Ebay doesn't carry black ones. You'll have to get it powdercoated for another $20-$45 depending on where you go.

Also, DO NOT get a Camaro bowtie. You want a 1969 Chevelle bowtie... Hell, I'm selling the exact grille you want off my car. Everything is brand new, I never mounted it because I ended up making my own.

Not sure you want to pay what I'm asking but if you make your own you'll pay just as much anyways.

I paid:

Ebay Grille $50 + $15 shipping
Powder Coat $45 (I usually get a better price but this was for satin, not gloss and was just one item)
1969 Chevelle Bowtie $75 shipped (I think, may have been a little more, definitely not less)
Bracket (made myself for about $5) to mount emblem

Total spent: $190 give or take.

I'm asking $175 shipped which is a helluva deal considering what I spend and what I'll loose in shipping and paypal.

^^Never mind, my brain is fried. You said SS emblem not bowtie...

So yeah, by an ebay grille, get it powder coated and stick the emblem on. I think you have the right emblem for that, not sure though...

Bringing this one back from the dead to ask one thing... and i think i already know the answer..
I know the ebay grilles require drilling... do the stull grilles grilles fit in the stock holes or require drilling?

Aren't the ones from ebay also Stull grills? Or at least some of them?

From pictures they look like they have the same mounting to me but can't say first-hand.

my stull required drilling, not like its really a big deal though. I'm sure you probably still have the holes from the stock grill anyway. So whats a few more holes right. Good luck I'm sure it'll look great

BTW... my stull was off ebay

i got mine off someone and it had 2 srew holes in the middle and 2 on the edges to grab the side of the bumper.

pretty sure they wont fit on the stock holes....

all i did was hold it in place wile my bro got some basic drywall screws and an screwdriver and inserted it it was easy since the plastic

is not hard.

i got my grill for 25 bucks few chips and stuff all i did was sprayed black again before installing.

If you mean billete grille from ebay, you DO have to drill holes for them.
Its 4 screws that hold them in.

PS: I really like the stance of your car.
