Any ideas on how to change red color of optima battery

just use the factory battery cover GM offered on the s-10 pickups. i used it and it looks great

under that cover is a optima red top just as yours. it will only fit the optima with the side terminals on the outer edges, not the ones with the terminals closer to the center (unless you cut out new holes in the cover)
i don't have the part #, but i ordered this right from my local dealer. i think cost is about 30 bucks. the lid opens from the top, it has a velcro strap to hold it down. it just looks like it belongs there. just ask for one that fits a 95 S-10. they'll figure it out.

I got that.. You can sand the optima off the top and paint it whatever color you want..
