Someone could probably p-shop it for ya...I think it'll look badass, since it has a wider cowl on it then the 2 and 4" versions

5" is a little steep. I wish they had a 2.5" or 3" version, I would probably look into one then

Try posting this in the multimedia under the photo shop thread and i think pendragon can do something for you. Just make sure you provide him with a picture of a car to apply the hood too. Im not too crazy about cowl hoods on 98-02 4th gens.

That is the hood that I want to run. It is 22" longer than stock so some trimming will be in order. I want the pin on style and it only weighs 17lbs...maybe less when trimmed down. Just don't have the 350 for nonperformance stuff right now. Maybe my wife will surprise me on Christmas morning.

I would look into harwood, they have a wide cowl hood thats only 3" and it bolts on. It is only second to the VFN 3" SS hood in my book.

I just read this post and I thought the hood looked pretty cool. So I did a search for it. I believe it is on the car at the bottom of this page I have linked here (the car is purple/silver). The scoop looks much larger on a car than in the pic!!

Check out the SOM car with the black SS hood scoop. I like that hood a lot.

Actually, I dont believe thats SOM. I wanna say its a member of the forum who painted his Z a Brandywine or Blood Red, something like that. Its a really deep red, but in sunlight it does have an orange hue. The color looks badass thats about the only red i really like.

The hood looks WAY bigger than that in person. If you're not a tall person it doesn't look like a fun hood to try to see over.
