i have been looking for some second gen z28 emblems to put on my car. the ones that came on 2nd gen fenders are like $95 new. the ones that went on the grille are cheaper. so does anybody know the difference between the two? i think the grille ones might be bigger. 6litereater has the fender ones on his car and they look pretty good so i wonder if the grille ones wouldnt look as good. oh, im looking for the 1970-74 emblems.

I have those same emblems on mine. They were not that high, but I have had them for years. I can't remember what the difference is with the grill emblem. I will look back and see where I bought mine.

The place I got mine has them for $117 a piece! They don't list the grill emblem. I will have to look at some pictures to see what the difference is between the side and grill emblems. This is the only picture I have. I will get another taken and posted.

I am going to use the same 70-74 emblems on my car. I haven't found them any cheaper than $90 a piece. I had the first gen style on my old 02 pewter Z(RIP ) and don't want my '00 pewter Z to be indentical to it or atleast any more than it is now.

They aren't any cheaper from Eckler's($105) and Ebay is the same way. I have looked every where for these. Doesn't make sense why these are more expensive

From what I can tell the grille emblem is slightly bigger than the fender emblem

I have the grille emblems in the rear on my black berger panel and one in the driver's side of my 1LE foglight delete grilles. It's hard to tell in pictures, but for some reason, that fender emblem looks bigger. I'll post pics later.

ya a set of two fender emblems went for like $120 on ebay. which is still too much for me. I found a place that has the grille ones for like $40 which is reasonable.

Wow I must have goten this idea when it was a good time - found most of mine for about $40 a piece on Ebay when i did it like 3-4 years ago. tail, fenders, grill, nose, and the header emblem which I put on my center console only hit me about $200. I wish I had some decent pictures of them for you.

I found a couple sites that have them for half the price they are going for . I emailed them a few minutes ago and asked for a current price. I will post back in here when I get a reply from them.

Alright I got an email back from one of the companies. They have the fender emblems for $55 each which is still about half the price anywhere else has them.

Also the grille emblem is IDENTICAL to the fender emblem with the exception of the mount studs. The studs are longer because of the depth of the grille. I plan on cutting the studs off and putting them on with 3M tape. So what does this mean? You can buy the grille emblems for 1/3 of the cost and use them on the fenders
