giving the ta a new look pics inside(56k no way)
UPDATE: new pictures in post #36
So now that the car makes some power, and has the suspension all finished up, I figured it was time to get a new paint job. I bought a factory ws6 hood and torque thrust II's off a member on here. The hood was red and the car was blue so needless to say it was time for a change.
Right before we start to tear the car down for prep. (the calipers are no longer baby blue)
Figured I would toss some new rotors/pads on and strip/repaint the calipers while they were tearing the car down.

figured I would bring this back from the dead. The car finally has some paint on it. The bumpers, spoiler, and rocker trim is all thats left plus polishing the car. The pics are as the paint and clear came out of the gun. Nothing has been polished yet. So far I am pleased with the results.

I wish I had a better camera that could really show the shine of the car. This is the first car that I have had painted so I am anxious to see the polished and finished product!

looks great, and if this is the first time ya have had one painted, youll be amazed at how much the polishing helps at the end. only bad thing is it makes EVERYTHING ELSE on the car look old LOL. (or it does on my vehicles)

Well since I am getting the "homie hookup" I am only paying 3500 total. He is powdercoating the wheels storm grey metallic aswell as doing the ceta mod in the same color. One thing I am having trouble deciding is whether or not to have the spokes on the wheels done. it just seems like the TTII's are so damn common. I would like to have something different assuming it will look good. Thanks for the kind words everyone. Hopefully the car will be done in the next week or two and I can get some decent pics taken to post.

no it is called storm grey metallic. It is a dark gray...almost graphite color with loads of metallic in it. The wheel cap and outer lip will be left polished. The spokes will be the only thing coated.
This is probably the closest color I could find to the Storm Grey Metallic he will be using on the bumper for the CETA mod and the spokes on the wheels. Let me know what you guys think as I have been trying to decide whether or not to leave the wheels polished or if I should have them coated.
