Default replacing D/P leather seats

i want to change the seats or find a nice quality/good fitting cover to put over my ebony leather seats. they are beginning to harden in spots and i don't want them to crack up. here's two options i've been looking at, not very expensive either.

seat cover off ebay, $40.

procar seat from jegs, $150.

i like the seat from jegs, it's got a choice of velour inserts or vinyl inserts.

not sure on install, but it says seat sliders are included. but you have to get custom brackets but i have no clue on how much they are.

it seems like everything on summit is on backorder!

i would think the quality would be good, i mean it's still probably got a little of the uncomfortable feeling of a race seat. but it looks like it's more form fitting so i like that. i'll try jegs tonight and see if it's available or on BO, i'll let you know.

I checked the seats out in store and they are about as comfortable as stock seats. Almost the same dimensions. Only question is if the brackets are the correct height for fbodies. Would suck if after installing the seat it feels like you're sitting an inch higher.

i would think so, there is a universal bracket and an fbody specific bracket. the universal might not be exact and may have a higher seat height.

gonna get them tonight, haven't decided if i'm gonna go with the universal bracket and save $40, or go with the fbody specific bracket. if it's comfortable enough, i'll buy one for the passenger seat as well just to match up.

I'd get the fbody bracket, just to make sure the height is correct. I bet the universal ones are high.

interested to see these installed. Ive been looking for some comfortable, reliable, good looking, AND affordable seats. Just seems hard to believe that a seat that costs so low would be any good.

they look like they are comfortable and good quality, and the option of vinyl/velour inserts is nice. i'm gonna choose velour, i really don't want vinyl and it seems the velour might be a little more comfortable.

Get the brackets for the f-body, but they make the seats sit kind of high

Heres the pics I have saved from a member here that installed them and then traded for a set of stock seats.
