headlights..
I have a 99' z28 with low mileage, but pretty weathered headlights. They are stock, and I've tried wet sanding them thoroughly and appropriately, but had no success. I got fed up and decided to buy a pair on projector headlights ( I know...) because I feel like it would make my black car look even meaner. Since I am new to owning a camaro, I was wondering how to remove the headlight assembly. Also, the signal lights right under the headlights I may also replace, so if anyone knows how to remove them please let me know.
Im looking into these combination:

Headlight removal is "easy" - put it in quotes because it can fight you a little. One small bolt near the top center of the headlight on the back, then it slides toward the center of the car and pops out.
Signal lights have three bolts, two on the rear of the light and one on the bottom. The hardest part about getting them out is getting the corners of the light to clear the bumper. You'll probably fight with them for a while in different angles and it will always catch on something, then you'll try one way you tried a million times already and it will suddenly just slide right out.

Yeah just did my corners about two weeks ago, my passengers side factory lights were broken, but lodged in so you couldn't tell. Ultimately I had to take some bolts off the fender to get that damn light in, just would not go any other way. Even after doing that and fixing the halo headlight (somebody rigged them up with electrical tape only, I went in and soldered and insulated), ended up only taking 4 hours. Sounds like a long time, but when you factor in a trip to the store to pickup replacement bulbs, and my bud's disorganized garage, it actually went pretty quick. Oh the new corners are smoked, along with my led brake light. Had some side markers but they were DOA. Hooked them to the battery and nothing.

yea I just tried wet sanding with 2000 grit and it still looks like absolute crap. Im definitely going for new headlights now...do you have any problems with leaking or condensation on your aftermarket ones?
Actually...if anyone can give me a suggestion on what headlights to get for a reasonable price id appreciate it. Im not really into ricer projector headlights, but I dont mind these

Since my car is black, I feel like it would look nice. Should I keep my orange turning signal lights though? Heres my car:

yeah my headlights were also yellow... not worth it to try to sand them. i TRIED EVERYTHING. but hey DING CHAVEZ when u do pt them on... make sure u align them right.. especially those from ebay.. i bought some and when i put them on. they pointed to the left a little.. then they pointed down... so once u get them on..point it at a wall so u can see the beam of light. its way easier to do it that way...it took me a while to finally get it right...look into the HID conversion too wayyyy better visibility... just my 2cents man lol

Since you are looking at aftermarket projector headlights on ebay, I'd recommend sticking with a set that uses H1 or 9005/9006 bulbs. Many of the headlights on ebay are H3 which don't provide as good an output and don't handle HID as well. The first set you posted doesn't say which bulbs they use.
Here are some more choices:

I'm not certain which bulbs those those use though. One of those ads does say 9005/9006, but the back of the housing doesn't look right. I'd say email the seller to confirm which bulbs the housings use before buying.

I like the style a bit more, and they come with 9005/9006 bulbs. Ive seen a few camaros with this particular style and feel like it would look the best.

This one claims 9005/9006 bulbs and comes with front & rear side marker housings:

This one looks like the H1 Sonar projectors, but the ad doesn't say specifically so I'm not sure:

I see what you mean, but headlight performance is actually one on my least concerns. I checked out your links, and im not too crazy about the style (I dont like the little polka dot lights in the corner). If you think the ones I linked are good let me know. It says they come with the bulbs you mentioned, and everything is "plug and play" with no extra modding or wiring. For the price, free shipping, and judging that they fit and dont link I think its a good deal. Let me know =0

You Camaro guys have an easier time with headlights than us Firebird guys.

decisions decisions...It really comes down to 2 styles, the ones I like with the halo ring in the middle, vs the projector ones with the little dots on the side. Doesnt really matter to me as long as theyre not **** quality and dont leak, dont have a gap, etc. Im going to keep looking so I dont have to go nuts sealing them and buying washers to make them fit right

For the front signals, don't get the all black housing ones... I have those, and they leak and melt. Even after sealing the lens the plastic in the back around the socket melted and leak onto the bulb. The better black ones have a chrome reflector behind the bulb with the rest of the housing black, I've been told they don't melt, so I ordered a set. Like these:
