Any opinions on these covers...

Quicksilver with gunmetal lettering...

(Im looking for ways to bring QS into the bay, to match the accents on the exterior.

Im worried the bay will be too dark without the bright red FRCs...)

Haha. That's exactly what I want to do to my car except I don't have a garage! I'm super **** and would want everything painted/coated/anodized that was metal or aluminum.

Looks good! Keep the pics coming.

I'm not a fan. I personally think that fabricated aluminum valve covers are the only way to travel. They are silver (duh) and look so clean and proper in any engine bay.

These are Nasty Performances, although there are probably other options available:

For what they cost, Im not a fan of fabbed valve covers, and I would want to powdercoat them QS anyway.

Considering I really want these...

I am just trying to get something, to keep me happy until I can afford to get those.

Check out the boys over at Summit. They have a pair for 170, natural aluminum, fabbed. SUM 440341. Add in the cost of powder coat and you're under 300 for sure.

Youre right, I apologize. I just checked out Nasty's site, I thought I saw they were ~5-600.. but i thought wrong.

I guess I have more options to ponder.

Thank you.

What do you guys think of this idea?

I already have my bumper cut, from when I had a FMIC...

Ill probably stick the cover back on for street driving, but at the track, should be good flow... right?

Thanks man. Thats what this round is. "Version 4" I am going back and adding the finishing touches. Should be pretty slick. but there will be a few things that get cut from the list... this project has run its course, and is way over budget for awhile.

0/1 for power and ground, from the rear up to the front, distribution block, 0/1 to the starter, 2 gauge to the alternator, fuse block.

As many grounds as you can.... Difficulty is relative to your knowledge, determination...
