My Interior and Engine Bay.......Build Thread
Not sure about why you got a vacation, but good to have you back. Seeing your pics of your dog hanging out makes me a little sad because I lost my Roxanne this past August (she's my avatar). She was my garage buddy as well and it's weird hanging out in the garage without her these days.
Yea you put that great, and i feel the same way about my car. I do love driving it(well i miss it...) but i know itll be more fun after im done. and ill be prouder to do so.

Sorry to hear about roxanne. I plan on getting a second dog in a few months when sadie is done with training.
She is a great dog, I had her out in the garage with me when she was only 10weeks old, so grinding, pounding, and welding doesn't scare her.

Ill put up some pics of last night in a few.

As she sits with $100 worth of sandpaper sitting on the windshield.

One of my LS7 Heads Arrived.. In comparison to the stock 241...

Sadie trying to hide her bone under my tools... (Shes pushing wrenchs to cover the bone... with her nose...)

Here she is, diggin in my Head box, to dig a hole for her bone...

How about under the workbench...?
Keep that pup out of the antifreeze!
I dont need any reminding of how much work i have to do...

Im trying to figure out if i want to do a full re-spray...

Oh yea... I try to keep from getting into to much trouble.
But, I got out there yesterday a little, and today.
Here what i got done,
(I got myself a handy little palm sander, and it really makes this sanding much easier, and go MUCH faster.)
I need to get welding wire, to weld a couple more holes(some random drill hole, random holes on each strut tower, the triangle I cut for the wires through the fender, several spot welds i missed, stuff on the firewall.
I also gotta work on my A/C Delete panel, and my wiring.
Also tomorrow, im gonna wet sand the roll cage, to take off a couple drips, then idk, but i dont want anymore paint.
Its a little hard to tell in the pics, but the strut towers and frame rails are pretty damn close to smooth, with nice curves.
Im trying to figure out what to do with that weird indentation on the drivers side strut tower, (The one thats great for holding bolts)

I got everything i needed all welded up.
I also put a couple plates to cover up the dip(bolt holder) on the drivers side strut tower. I got bondo on that also.
Looks pretty good.
Forgot the camera in the garage(200ft away... Im lazy) ill put up pictures tomorrow.
Time for some Call of Duty MW2!!!

I only have one pic of the plates I welded on, and its on my phone. Just so you guys dont think i just filled it in with bondo.

These are up-to-date pics, i should get out there tomorrow, i get out of class at like 1.
Just to refresh you guys, and i know priming at this step is unnecessary but, I was having a hard time telling the actual shape of the shock tower, with all the different layers of bondo, it needs some work, but Im excited with how it looks.

I'm actually designing an even bigger garage/house, to go on a lot I have.
Thank you.
