j/k

I know i keep going back and forth... but since i already welded in my cage, and spent what feels like months trying to paint my cage.

I dont want to have to redo the rear bars.

So i guess for now ill just do wat i can by beating the **** out of the stock metal and cutting out the bumpstops.

I think once i get my car back together ill by a cheap roller and get to work on that.

As you can see the LS7 fits in there quite well

I got the last two filler panels welded in. So now i get to work on bondo for awhile.

But i also decided to move the fuse boxes under the dash, I now wont even has
to do the wire mod. because they will be connected under the dash,
the wires will never go into the engine bay.

Also, I painted my cage for the last time.

Also... also... notice my Bad *** Winter Wheels on the front.

Trevor...

Keep going man. You are doing a great job. For someone who says they no expierence, my friend you are doing great work.

Ohh and do your self a favor, get you engine bay done the right way; you;re way!!!!!!! Don't set yourself short. Last I checked you live in MI. And it is winter time right now. Who cares if your motors gets here. Priority #1, get your engine bay done the way YOU want it!!!!!

Don't worry about driving your sisters saturn that burns oil. Sure beats throwing your car together, driving it in the snow being pounded by the elements and salt. And lastly someone PLOWING into your car where it is totaled out.. Just do your self a favor and take your sweet time. Again we still have about 5 months of winter left. Plenty of time to get everything how you want it..

Remember... Work Smarter, Not Harder

Good Luck, I will continue to follow this thread

So, today, I welded up some stuff, including the little hood stop things, to give me something to bondo on..

My buddy luke, ground down all the welds, and then we got some bondo on the pass front corner.

I used this Pro-caulk thing to do the corners, and it looks great. The radius was just enough to cover up the welds. I quite happy with how this came out.

Also... Im thinking about having the whole car, engine bay, and cage painted a new color...

Ive never liked having a black car...

How taboo would an LS7 CETA Clone be?

I kinda LOVE that yellow.

Why are you all of a sudden having fun now? Before it sounded like you were ready to throw in the towel..

Glad things have changed. Keep up the good work!

Well i just got a great deal on some heads. So thats good news. Other than that... Idk, I can just see "it" (my vision) again. So i see what im striving for.

It seems every time I feel overwhelmed... I take a bigger bite. Good Idea...? Prob not. but only time will tell. and if it every gets finished... Its gonna be ****.

Great work. Dont lose sight of your vision. All the hard work will have a great reward when you press down on the GO pedal.

I have been procrastinating about the right hand drive conversion (for Australia) of my C5 Corvette. Dont think I would be game to document my progress when the time comes...
