god yes do this! look up the dick harrell cars, all their engine bays are black (that i've seen) and it looks bad ***. can't wait to do it with mine.

I have a semi-gloss black engine bay in my white Firebird. My buddy has a semi-gloss black engine bay in his SOM Formula and another has semi-gloss black as well in his white SS. They look great. I'll get pictures up tonight sometime.

I too would love to see this. I have a MMM camaro and am in the process of prepping the engine bay for paint. I was going to go the body color but am seriously considering going either semi gloss or gloss black now... I think it would look sick.

I have satin black accessories and valve covers etc but the fender wells are still NBM.
