Probably be easier and less hassle just to get a new window without the strips installed............

i had a 94 camaro(first car) all options EXCEPT rear defog, wish it wasnt smashed after the accident id swap it into my trans am

My car doesn't have the rear defrost option. It was origionally a Arizona car, no defrost and cloth seats.

Trying to take the defroster lines off the glass seems like a huge waste of time and effort.

Just buy some Percey's Lexan Speed Glass, I'm fairly positive it can be tinted and it'll save you weight.

I'm fairly certain it can be dropped in to your current one, I would probably have someone that has experience installing windshields do it though.

1LE's didn't have rear defrosters as a standard option.. and +1 for having a good shop tint over them without any problem
