Question Guage Appearance Suggestions.. Need Help

I am looking buying some gauges, the company allows you to personalize them. I am havin trouble deciding if i want a black background with red numbers? OR a silver background with red numbers?

Here are how my gauges look in my car now...... Those are McEwen Silver face gauges

Also the bezel piece that goes around the gauges, should i do it in black to math the pod or chrome?

One more thing. I can chose the color of the needle too. Would have it glow red or blue?

I would do a black bezel, probably red needle.. and im not sure about the gauges. Black would probably look weird and might be hard to see at times.

I call dibs on the old gauges

Hey Brian, i gues i mislead you. I am talking about Gauges for water temp, fuel pressure and so on.. For the A pillar like you have with your cobalts...

Damn I thought you were talking about the dash gauges too!, for pillar gauges I think you should keep the same color scheme going.

Not sure what color background I'd go with, but definitely go with a red needle!

I jsut wish with the silver background, the numbers were black and not red...

With the needle option you can get a red needle (during the day it is red and night it is red too).. Or you can get a white needle (during the day it is white) and at night it glows red..

OR

you can get a blue needle. During the day it is white, and at night it glows blue like the cobalt blue...

I can not decide

Hm... black background.... red numbers... white needle (glows red at night). I think that would look really good during the day and at night. Id say keep the bezel black around the pods.

The only thing i do not like, is when you light the gauge up, there is no difference between day and night.. Get what i am saying?

Here is what mine looks like. I was going for a stock appearance though. I had the pillar painted to match the dash perfectly. You could do white face gauges of course since your already using white faced on the dash.

That is the autometer pillar. I wasn't there when LMR installed it for me so I'm not sure how it matches straight from autometer.
