Cool UPDATED New appearance mod for the SS - PICS!!!!

Well, this evening I finished the install of my new brakes. I have not had a chance to drive it yet, but the install went well.

I got an adaptor kit to install C5 calipers and rotors on my SS, so the car started out with 12" KVR cross drilled rotors and painted stock calipers with "Camaro" decals. The stock rotors were starting to look a little wimpy behind the 18" wheels.

Finished result is better quality, stronger, pressure cast C5 calipers with diamond cut "Corvette" lettering, and MASSIVE 13.1" Baer Eradispeed 2-peice rotors, slotted and cross drilled.

Here are two pics, first one is before and the second is after. I'll have more soon when Netsnapshots will let me create a new album. Can't wait to see how well he stops now!

Very sweet!

It definitely fills the large void behind the 18s.

I can't believe you didn't get any complainers that your calipers say "Corvette" on them, like I did with mine. lol

looks awesome!

There is a complete kit you can buy with OEM rotors for ~ $850.00 COMPLETE!

With the Eradispeeds, ~$1,200 for the front, and ~$310 for the rear rotors.

WOW! Looks great. By the way, who offers the kit for $850 complete? Sounds like a nice spring time mod...
