Default Installing a 6 point bolt in cage?

Anyone have any instructions on mounting points, tips, tricks or a link to a detailed install page?

I'm going to bolt it in for a couple of months till I get the 12 bolt in the car then go ahead and have it welded.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as my buddy and I are going to tackle this one ourselves on Sat. morning.

Thanks!

David

Cutting the carpet and speaker grills took a lot of time. I cut a little at a time then placed the carpet or speaker grill back, then cut again till it was perfect.

Slow process but good results. Everyone compliments it at shows. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

You're welcome! Hey, I may have to contact you for some pointers when I do this next spring. I think I asked this before but... Were you able to keep the rear speakers in their factory location?

Are you going to add harnesses? I have an idea on how to have my factory seats modified to allow the harnesses to come through the seats. It'll look great. I'm also considering having the upholstery shop beef up the side bolsters too to have it work more like a racing seat but still be a factory seat.

I have the Wolfe 6 PT bolt in roll cage. The fitment is perfect, it's a quality unit that looks good to. Check my sig for some picures of it installed. It came powdercoated black, but I had it matched to my paint code and painted it the same color as my car, bright red. As far as install goes, it's a piece of cake. Start to finish it took me and my Dad 2.5 hours to do, that includes seat removal and replacement. Take your time and make sure you have a good drill and bits on hand, and the install will be a cinch!

The speakers under the grill were only 4-5inch rounds, (suprise, suprise) I thought they were 6x9's. I just moved them over an inch and remounted them.

I would be interested in how you are going to do your seats, keep me updated. I am not sure where I am headed with mine.

One thing I learned is I am going to order all of my mods for next year now for the winter install. Get the cage now for later.

Very tastefully done! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="gr_images/icons/cool.gif" />

You guys are right holding on to mods is tuff. I learned my lesson when my chroming took 5 weeks of spring, I'll plan now for fall. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

I opted for the removable cross bar so when my kids get bigger I can take it out for road trips, and for reclining.
