Niteshaded headlights?

Anybody ever used niteshades on their headlights? I have no experience with this stuff but is it possible to get a really slight smoked look?

I've never seen it on an fbody, but I've seen it done. If you do, just be real careful, once that stuff is on there it ain't coming off. I would just do one, maybe two REALLY light coats, then clear and wetsand.

yeah i just want a real faint tinted look. I was gonna buy some on ebay to test out.

yea i think that will be tricky to get what you are looking for, it might just make them look dirty/foggy

i'm thinking the same thing. Maybe a whistler mod but with niteshades instead of paint...hmm...

if anyone has a spare set of lights around they should expirement with them and see what just a few light coats of VHT and clear wetsanded and buffed look like!

don't do that it will look shitty get the covers my friend has them on his black 99 z28 and that **** looks badass and they are very shiny black so it looks nice

+1 on covers they look soo good!!!
gives me the options to change my car appearance whenever i want to.
i have the 50$ silvania bulbs and wen night driving with the covers i guess the light output is like stock old headlights.
