I posted here rather than the T/A section because I want everyones opinion!


On a Camaro I think It's safe to say that the LT1 tailights are the way to go, but I wanna know where everyone stands on the T/A tailights... LT1 or LS1?

In all honesty, I think I would put LS1 tails on my red T/A if they could be had in good shape, with no sealing issues, and reasonably cheap, which is asking a great deal. My LT1 tails are all of the above, so I think I should spend my money elsewhere !

LT1 taillights if you are going to VHT/tint them, one coat on the back-up lens, two coats on the rest of it. Otherwise LS1 honeycomb design, ...

Kinda figured LS1 would end up garnering some high marks but I posted because I have heard from more than a few that kinda surprised me with their allegiance to the LT1 lights!
Just gotta find where they at?

I've got LS1 style tails they looks so much better than LT1 tails. Go with them they look hot

I have a set of ls1s on my car...but would deff rather have a nice set of LT1 tails. I say keep the LT1 tails.

I like the LS1 taillights the best. Also, the LS1 taillights don't have the separation issues like the LT1 taillights.

lt1 taillights are nice but you can never find them in good condition without water and **** all inside of them

I replaced my LS1 tails with LT1s because of the infamous DS light going dark. I tried for years to find a matching PS dark light but couldn't. People want too much for LS1 lights in perfect shape so I bought a nice set of LT1s. They are darker without tinting because of the grid design and this set had no delamination issues. I also had 2 LT1 'birds so I can live with it and they seem to make the fat TA *** look more slim. I am voting for LS1 though because I like being different.

depends on the color of your car... I would go with LT1 but only on a darker car.

if LS1 lights werent so damn expensive id buy them, but black out your LT1 lights with Ventshades or VHT and you are good to go
