What Firebird/Formula/Trans-Am (non-WS6) owners are ready to buy a shaker kit?

anyways, great idea you have, but i just can't imagine there will be enough people who would slice into their own hoods.

I would be all over this when you make it. But I don't really care about it being functional 'cause I already have cold air intake and all that stuff. Would you be able to offer just the shaker with out the ducting and stuff to make it functional? I'd buy it either way, just curios.

I've already bought the shaker and a 2nd hood for my project. I've been working with Raleigh T/A on making my own similar to what he did.
I just haven't found a good price on a set of nutz. Definitly required when taking a dremel / cutter to your stock hood. In all honesty though, the car is going home this year to start the project. I have a shop to work out of there.

Illustrations of what Chris is describing: Photos are thumbnails, click for larger.
I don't know anyone who runs a stock airbox, so the HTA's set-up is not really an option here.
Now a real airbox is seen here in a LS1Tech member's car (haven't seen him online for years)

6LiterEater....I'd LOVE to see a shaker kit made available...I just recently was introduced to your site and products...love em!... I personally just started my own shaker project on my 2000 Trans-am. I bought an extra flat hood so i have the original as a spare. and a shaker scoop from a '76 T/A. I have the duct work mostly figured out..just need to finish fabricating it. Then its figure best placement for the shaker box...cut the hood, adjust the height of the box and do final fab on that. Let me know if you get a kit made!!!

one thing i want to do at some point is a 2002 Trans AM throwback to the 78 bandit style. I mean gold stripes, the year one wheels. This would make it just that much easier!
