Yes, make this. I've been wanting one for a long time. Glad someone is finally making one. When will they be available for sale?

There fixed it for you.

The Heritage T/A is simply horrible. That belongs on a 2nd gen.... not 4th gen.

If there is real interest in them I might see if VFN wants to offer you guys pre-cut hoods (I could send them the templates)...[/QUOTE]

I think this is a great idea. Would make installation of the complete system much easier for me and I could save my stock hood.

Mold is finished, ready to pop these babies out for you guys (just need a local car to finish fabbing the box on)... Did one in Carbon Fiber to show off

My guy can put any type of grille in there (stainless water jet cut, plain mesh, etc...) if any one wants...

Thoughts so far?

That's pretty sweet looking. It's kind of hard to judge it by itself. Need to see it on a hood to see how it sits and looks proportionally. But anything made of carbon fiber gets my attention haha.

That looks amazing!!! I wonder what it would look like with a Firehawk type hood along with the Shaker.

Couple days away... CF adds almost $200 to the kit (just my cost alone, no extra markup) but fiberglass scoops can be had cheaper...

Hoping in the end it will be same price SHIPPED as a hood BEFORE shipping (before shipping cost of a hood that is, which makes a hood $150 or so more usually) AND you won't need to paint a whole hood so you'll have a cheaper option...

Already got a guy long distance to be the first without my guidance :cough: SVTBait :cough: but I am still looking for an LS1 car (sorry Chris) that is local to mock up the box on.

Once I have that I'll be looking for an LS1 Camaro (with factory hood) and an LT1 Trans-Am to see if it will work on (the airbox, not cutting a hole in their hoods) and then if they want it for my cost (same as I'm doing with SVT) then they can have it...

I would definitely buy shaker kit! This is just what the gen4 cars need. I currently don't own a gen4 car (used to have a 97 WS6 T/A, M6), but am seriously considering getting an LS1 car, but as much as I like the Ram Air hoods of the WS6 car I think I'd rather get a non-WS6 and add one of these shakers instead! AWESOME!!!!!!
